Excellent conditions throughout the growing season began with average winter rainfall, and a drier spring. Very hot January weather was tempered with good water management, with balanced canopies providing shade and assisting optimum ripening. Warm, dry conditions continued through harvest, promoting good flavour profiles and colour development.
16% was matured with French oak to enhance complexity, weight & structure while highlighting the bright fruit character.
Red Label Cabernet Sauvignon is great with spaghetti Bolognese, or grilled lamb cutlets with rosemary potatoes.
Best enjoyed in its youth, however will continue to develop for 1 to 2 years in bottle.
